ABOUT THE CREATOR
Why I created the Significance Blueprint
I have spent much of my life asking a deceptively simple question: What makes a life matter?
Achievement is part of the answer, but it is not the whole answer.
The Significance Blueprint grew from years of work, leadership, family life, coaching, mistakes, losses, service, and reflection.
It is a practical framework for recognizing what has been entrusted to you, choosing intentionally, developing character, and enriching the lives of others.

AUTHOR - SPEAKER - CREATOR OF THE SIGNIFICANCE BLUEPRINT
ORDINARY EXPERIENCES. ENDURING QUESTIONS.
THE QUESTION BENEATH THE WORK
Outcomes were only part of the story.
For years, I thought seriously about success.
I worked hard. I built a business. I led teams, taught, coached, solved problems, and pursued demanding goals.
Like many people, I learned to measure progress through results: what was completed, improved, earned, built, or achieved.
But experience kept showing me that outcomes were only part of the story.
THE FAMILIAR QUESTION
What am I accomplishing?
THE DEEPER QUESTION
Who am I becoming, and what enters the lives of others because of it?
THAT QUESTION BECAME THE BEGINNING OF THE SIGNIFICANCE BLUEPRINT.
Some of the moments that shaped me most involved mistakes I had to own, responsibilities I cold not avoid, plans that failed, relationships that required courage, and choices that mattered even when no one else know about them.
EXPERIENCE BECAME THE TEACHER
Lessons from an ordinary life
The blueprint was not created in a laboratory or built from on dramatic breakthrough. Its principles emerged through ordinary experiences repeated across a lifetime.
WORK
What is placed in your care
I began working on a dairy farm when I was eight years old. The animals still needed to be fed when I was tired and when no one was watching.
___________________________________
RESPONSIBILITY IS A CHOICE TO CARE FOR WHAT IS IN YOUR HANDS.
FAILURE
Failure without lost worth
Building a manufacturing business taught me creativity and perseverance. Its failed sale and the loss that followed forced me to separate failure from identity.
___________________________________
FAILURE CAN BE OWNED WITH OUT DEFINING YOUR WORTH.
ENDURANCE
Failure without lost worth
Eighteen marathons taught me that meaningful progress is rarely dramatic. It comes through ordinary effort repeated after the excitement disappears.

A LIFE IS BUILT THROUGH THE NEXT RESPONSIBLE CHOICE.
PEOPLE
Failure without lost worth
As a husband, father, coach, teacher, leader, and colleague, I have seen how deeply one person’s character affects another person’s life.
___________________________________
WHO WE BECOME NEVER AFFECTS ONLY US.
Ordinary experiences can teach enduring principles, if we are willing to see them.
THE PATTERN BECAME CLEAR
The framework that emerged
Over time, these experiences began to form a pattern.
______________________________________________________________________________INHERENT WORTH_________________________________________________________________________________

Your worth is the foundation from which growth begins.
ENTRUSTED
Learn to see clearly what has been placed in your care.
CHOOSE

BECOME

ENRICH

SIGNIFICANCE
The good that enters other lives through what you do and who you become.
“Your worth does not need to grow. Your capacity can.”
Significance is the good that enters the lives of others because of what you do with what has been entrusted to you and who you become in the process.
